Demolition Process with Custom Kitchen Master:

  1. Removal of all appliances: Before starting the demolition process, it is important to unplug and remove all appliances, including the refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, and any other items. If appliances will be reused Custom Kitchen Master crew will allocated the space in the house for storage. We recommend to recycle old appliances! Custom Kitchen Master crew takes care of disposal.

  2. Disconnect electrical and plumbing: Turn off the power and water supply to the kitchen and disconnect any electrical or plumbing connections. SAFETY FIRST!

  3. Remove cabinetry and countertops: Take out any existing cabinetry and countertops. Custom Kitchen Master crew will cover floors and walls in order to minimize floor damages and dust exposure

  4. Remove flooring: Take up any existing flooring, such as tile, hardwood, or linoleum. Custom Kitchen Master PM will inspect subfloor

  5. Remove any walls or structural elements: If you are planning to alter the layout of your kitchen, you may need to remove any walls or structural elements that are in the way. This topic will be discussed with Custom Kitchen Designer during design stage of the project

  6. Clear debris: Once all the elements are removed, clear out any debris, such as nails, screws, or drywall pieces, to prepare the area for the next phase of the renovation.

  7. Properly dispose of debris: Make sure to properly dispose of all debris. At Custom Kitchen Master we interested to save our customer's money. For most project we do not use Disposal Bin and get rid of construction debris after each step of the project. This is also helpful for condo renovations or job sites where Disposal Bin can not be used. However, if its large project, Custom Kitchen Master PM will provide Disposal Bin at competitive price.
